Interstate 81 forms the northern edge of the CDP, separating it from Linglestown, with access from Exit 72 (Mountain Road). It is bordered to the north by Linglestown and to the west by Colonial Park. It is part of the Harrisburg– Carlisle Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 5,412 at the 2010 census.
